All the Meteorites...

Hello :)

Hope you're well!

I was in Cardiff, and so naturally mooched around the numerous beauty departments they have there (House of Fraser, Debenhams, Boots, John Lewis...)

Loads of Guerlain was half price in John Lewis, and so I took a closer look.. Guerlain is a brand I've always been interested in, their products seem so fancy and french!
I've always swatched the Meteorites when I've been at a Guerlain counter, and I was super excited when the Perles de nuit were half price :D

I love the packaging so much! Black and glossy on the outside, crazy turquoise and black pattern on the inside... the container itself is pretty awesome too.

It's a turquoise metallic colour, with a flower pattern on the lid - makes a nice change from the usual black packaging companies use.

The really awesome bit - look how preeettty!
The colours were really hard to pick up on camera, but there are shades with pale pink, gold, white and lavender.
The pearls also smell like parma violets, which I quite like.

You can swirl a brush in and smoosh it around, then apply to face (the fun way) and use as a blusher/highlighter :)
Or, you can use a pearl individually as eyeshadow or blush... fun to play around with!

Any more Guerlain recommendations?

Douceurs de Paris FOTD

Hello, cuties :)

Santa bought me (big thank you!) the Nars Pleasures of Paris palette, which I'd been lusting after for a long time :D

It's just as awesome as I expected, standard Nars quality and ritzy packaging ... Nars does my favourite packaging, of any make up brand!

L-R top row - Demon Lover, Violetta, Nepal
Bottom row - Cordura, Abyssinia, Fez

I used Nepal all over my lid and Demon Lover in the crease, with Abyssinia in the tear duct :)

Also used my new Mac lipstick Captive, which is my first Mac satin lipstick... loveeeeee!

The Pleasures of Paris palette is available exclusively on the Nars website here

Anyone else been playing with their Christmas makeup? :)

Black and Silver NOTD

Hello, lovelies!

Hope you all had a relaxing Christmas :)

My best friend got me some Chanel nail varnish for Christmas, (big thanks and love if you're reading this :D) so I did a contrasting manicure...

I used:
Chanel Black Satin 219
Barry M Nail Effects Foil 319

Then today I added a coat of the sparkly Deborah Lippmann polish I received in the Christmas GlossyBox... subtle over the black, but very pretty :)

Any one else loving black polish?

Happy Christmas!

Hello, lovelies!

Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas!

So sorry for my absence lately, University had been crazy with deadlines and stuff... I came home and then managed to get flu... I am here, and have blogging plans for the new year ;)
