This week's 'stash' is one of my first high end eyeshadows, Dior's Brown Sequins..
Lovely, lovely packaging. Like a little shiny blue baby. The packaging is ridiculously fancy, with a silver embossed Dior and a kind of holographic CD. Mmmm. This has been in my collection for a while and still looks neat and paw-free... I'm looking at you, NARS.
I find this colour really quite unusual and I definitely don't have any dupes in my collection. It looks completely different in some lights - in the picture above it looks quite warm and reddy, but as I'm looking at it now it looks far cooler and a bit similar to MAC's patina. In some lights it looks brown, in others champagne... chameleon colour!
In this swatch it looks definitely cooler, and more green toned! Hmm...
Here's a picture of me wearing it on my eye, with some Illamasqua Boomerang in the crease, and MAC Teddy as liner. It looks definitely warm here, and all smokey and beautiful. This is my only Dior shadow but it applies beautifully, very buttery and soft.
Definitely glad I rooted around in my drawers to find this gem today, will certainly be using this lots more!
