Skin Sparklers

Now Halloween is gone, I’m looking forward to bonfire night… mulled wine and hotdogs, yes please. I can’t wait for all of the sparklers, and what better way to get ready than with some lovely new highlighters that will gorgeously reflect the light in any bonfire selfies?
Let’s talk about some serious luxury… the Tom Ford Nightbloom Powder in Black Orchid. Look at the gorgeous packaging! It matches my Black Orchid perfume perfectly, and is definitely the most luxurious highlighter I own. A really warm-toned golden shimmer that has a high impact on the cheekbones – what can I say, it’s Tom Ford. It’s going to be good.
A more affordable option is the L’Oreal True Match illuminator in Icy Glow. The packaging is not the best in the world, but the actual product is a nice shimmery powder that works well on the cheeks, cupid’s bow and the brow bone. Anything with icy in the name is OK in my book.
One to watch out for in stores (because it sold out quickly online) is the MAC Nutcracker Sweet Copper duo. Two perfectly complementary shades that give a gorgeous amount of winter glow without looking too harsh. Love this, MAC did well with this year’s holiday collection.
What highlighters are you loving at the moment?
