Last-Minute Gifts

It’s only ten days until Christmas (eek!), so I’ve rounded up some of the best last-minute gifts for any beauty lovers – perfect if you’ve left shopping until the last minute…
The perfect little beauty pick for absolutely everyone is the DHC Beauty Bento Box, which contains loads of perfect little miniatures ready to get your skin glowing in January. The cleansing oil I love, the blotting papers are a handbag-hero, the mild soap is too cute and the eye strips are a god-send for giving eyes a little treat. I love this set! My skincare obsession of the moment in one handy little set; the Peter Thomas Roth Maskaholic Set is dreamy!
My dream in life is pretty much to meet Sali Hughes – she’s my absolute favourite beauty journalist, she’s Welsh and she’s a stylish jumper connoisseur. Her new book, Sali Hughes’ Pretty Iconic is packed full of mini-essays about certain nostalgic or cult beauty products – it’s the perfect book to dip into. Another book worth checking out is the Pixiwoo Face Book, which is packed full of gorgeous looks, step-by-steps and loads of helpful pointers. I find beauty books are such a nice thing to skim through, and absolutely ideal for post-Turkey sofa slumps. Also from Pixiwoo, is the Hollywood Icons DVD, which comes with a limited edition brush as well as a DVD all about the beauty and the glamour of famous screen sirens. Might as well make it a bundle and mention the gorgeous Real Techniques Bold Metals Set, with gold, silver and rose-gold brushes that will make putting on some Christmas-day makeup a real treat. All I need now is for Pixiwoo to do my actual makeup…
Two fail-safe beauty gifts that are always going to be a big hit – a Jo Malone Fragrance or a Tom Ford Lipstick.

Have you done all of your Christmas shopping?
