All About Autumn: Clarins Graphik Collection

Clarins Graphik Collection

I won’t lie, I’ve been waiting for Autumn for a while. I love everything Autumn, and I can’t wait for the jewel tones, hot chocolates and scarves… To whet our makeup whistles, Clarins has released their Graphik collection; a carefully curated edit of bold but wearable tones. It took me all of five seconds to push aside my summer bronzers and embrace the beautiful emerald tones in this collection.

Eyes on the prize, darling

I don’t think anything sets hearts racing quite as much as a good eyeshadow palette! This Forest quad is a little unexpected from Clarins in that it’s a fun pop of colour. It’s not one I would necessarily gravitate towards on the counter, but I think it might just be the perfect Autumn selection of shades. The mossy green shade is so interesting, and manages to ad such an interesting twist on an everyday makeup look. I found it surprisingly wearable, and I cannot wait to wear this as the weather cools down. The formula is nice – not sensationally pigmented, but very easy to work with and no fall-out.

There’s also a new inky black liner – it’s a felt tip pen, and very easy to use. It’s nothing new formula wise (how can liner be new, really?) but is black and relatively smudge-proof so it’s moved into my makeup bag.

Read my lips

My great makeup love. There are three shades of the lipstick; Deep Red, Litchi and Guava. All are fabulously rich and warm in tone. I’m wearing the shade Litchi smudged into the lips in the photo – I’m a little bit obsessed with how smudged lipstick looks at the moment. I apply, and then tap the colour in so it looks a little diffused and messier. The formula on these lipsticks is absolutely perfect for a little smudging in terms of wearing them – it’s soft, slightly sheeny and very hydrating on the lips. There are also two liners in Roseberry and Red, and they are not the star of this show!

Are you excited for Autumnal makeup?!
