Four Things

After a week with terrible wifi, I’m back in the big smoke and feeling rather refreshed…

I had a week off and it was amazing. My whole family descended upon a big house in the middle of nowhere to celebrate my grandparent’s 50th wedding anniversary and we all spent the week pottering about and generally relaxing. We went to Boscastle (pictures above) which is where my great-great Grandmother was from as well, it’s so beautiful. We had no phone signal and terrible wifi which was pretty nice for a change – back in London now and on a detox so no more cake or wine!

I’ve been shortlisted for an award! So so amazing, thank you so much for anyone who nominated me – it’s incredibly appreciated and makes me feel all the feelings for the lovely little blogging community I’m part of. If you want to vote for me, that would be beyond amazing and you can do so here. I’m also planning on coming along to the awards in September, so let me know if you’ll be there so I can say hello!

Catching up. I’m up to date on Game of Thrones (ok what?! SO Good), and today will be about planning some content, scheduling in some bits and then watching the rest of House of Cards and maybe some Salem… I’m eyeing up Ozark for my next show to binge, because Netflix is bringing it with their self-produced shows. Let me know of any recommendations!

Planning for Venice. Now that we’re back off holiday, I’m looking forward to our next trip and I’m going to start exploring Pinterest for some recommendations for Venice – I’m thinking lots of pasta and coffee. I really love mini-breaks as they’re a great way to explore new cities and they’re the best things to look forward to.
