A Homeware Update

Now that I’m working from home all the time, it’s an even better excuse to make sure my flat is looking as good as can be… Honestly, it’s justification for daily browsing on the Oliver Bonas and Anthropologie new in sections. It’s definitely allowed. I’ve mixed things up a little bit and added a few new pieces to keep things looking interesting.

Velvet & Pink

Ok, so this is my reading nook and it’s the cosiest area in my flat. I’m in love with the blue and pink colour combination (this cushion is everything!), although I’m having to reign myself in and make sure my entire flat doesn’t become a sea of blush pink. Maybe a peach pink throw to finish off the corner would be the perfect finishing touch.

I’m in the midst of working on a gallery wall above, but I’ve yet to see another print that is worthy to join the ranks. Maybe it’s time for me to give into the hype and try Desenio? The armchair sits right next to my desk so it’s incredibly tempting to just grab a book and relax pretty much all day…

New, and taking pride of place, on my coffee table is this absolute dream of a candle from Fornasetti. Far too beautiful to consider burning at the moment (because just look at it), I’m happy just staring at it for now. The florals are the best way to have a step towards spring without everything being too pastel right away. It smells divine, with the floral fragrance filling the entire room.

Although not new, my rose-gold lamp has now been moved in front of our fireplace – it’s so so perfect for cosy evenings in. My love with all things bronze shows no signs of slowing down, so I’m just embracing the little accents around the flat.
