Do you ever see a perfume and fall in love with it purely based on the bottle? Yeah, me too… When I saw the Moschino Pink Fresh Couture perfume I was obsessed. It’s pink. It’s obnoxiously girly. It looks like windex. It’s amazing. The bottle is incredible, and definitely stands out on the shelf. Inspired by a collision of haute couture and the ordinary everyday, Moschino has designed the scent to introduce the unexpected. I don’t think this will be to everyone’s taste, but it’s an undeniably fun fragrance.
Notes in Moschino Pink Fresh Couture
On first spritz, the perfume (via escentual) is an explosion of fizzy pink grapefruit – this is such a fruity and fresh scent from the start. I get a lot of comments from people saying that they find my usual amber-based scents are a little heavy for their tastes so I can imagine this being a crowd-pleaser. The pink grapefruit is made a little more complex with lily of the valley which adds some floral sweetness. The heart notes include pomegranate, for more fruitiness, and wild rose, for more floral. Lastly the whole thing is rounded off nicely with musk and cedar but this definitely remains a light and fresh fragrance. The entire fragrance is so feminine, girly and fresh. It’s definitely fruiter than picks I normally reach for, but Chris compliments me and asks what it is every time I wear it so it’s definitely one of those pretty perfumes. It’s an eau de toilette but has sensational lasting power.
Alongside the fragrance is the bath & shower gel and body lotion to complement the scent – layering fragrances is definitely the way to go. It increases the longevity of the perfume, and it’s a great way to really wear the scent. I’m in the midst of a pink obsession, and this packaging is giving me life!
