Sundays are made for skincare, and then blogging about subsequent skincare… Taking care of my skin is one of my favourite things to read and talk about! I’ve been mixing a few new things into the routine from masks to serums and everything in between.
First up is this facial oil from Pai – I am on a bit of a Pai discovery at the moment (see more on the cleanser here). I’ve tried quite a few rosehip oils in the past and my skin seems to love it. Something about it just works really well on my dry skin! This one from Pai is particularly rich and luxurious on the skin; massaging in at night for a couple of minutes has been leaving my skin feeling and looking a lot softer.
I’ve been trying this new range from Jurlique, designed for skin in need of antioxidants. The range has been reformulated and I’ve been testing out the serum, eye serum and the day cream. Jurlique is know for its botanical-based skincare, and this range is jam-packed with skin-loving ingredients. The cream is lovely and light; I imagine it would work perfectly on a combination skin because it’s so nourishing. The serum is my favourite because the effects on the skin are almost immediate – the complexion instantly looks replenished and revitalised.
I’m also particularly excited about these new(ish) sheet masks from Origins – the packaging is very pretty! They have one for just about every skin concern (I like the lavender) and they’re lovely. I know sheet masks definitely had a ~moment~ but I still really like them because they are so nourishing on the skin. Plus you have to lie down and relax when doing one, so it’s the perfect time to spend thirty minutes reading.
Have you tried any new skincare lately?
