I definitely go through phases when it comes to makeup. At the moment? I'm very much in the middle of a big crush on Bobbi Brown. It's more of a professional brand in that the products are sleek, sophisticated and hard-working. I've yet to really try anything I'm not a fan of, and I've recently added some new picks to my collection. Yup, my makeup bag has had a bit of a takeover! I'm talking blush, bronzer, sparkly eye shadow and lots of lipstick. All the good stuff.
I recently had a bit of a 'blush cull', and got rid of a lot of older products that been lurking around for a bit too long. So, I needed some new picks obviously. This perky little shade in Clementine is just the nicest coral shade. It's pigmented and looks gorgeous paired with the bronzer (featured below). I had a Bobbi Brown blush a while ago and I dropped it/shattered it, which was makeup heartbreak! Now I've got another shade back in my stash and I remembered how gorgeous the formula is. Lovely stuff.
Crushed Lip Colour
I've spoken about these lipsticks before, and the love affair is very much still going strong! They're such a good texture and the perfect balance between lip stick, balm and stain. I mentioned the crushed colours here if you want some more info!
I went for the shade Watermelon, which just seemed like a lovely summer update. It's a bright coral pink that leans a little cool-toned on me. Very pink, and very pretty. I wore it on a night out with lots of bronzer and it felt suitably bright without being too bright. The stain lasts for ages and ages without drying the lips. Love!
OK, these are seriously amazing. I am in love. My obsession with all things glitter has been well-documented, and I am a creature of habit. Glitter is the one!
These shadow sticks are like an easier to wear version of my favourite Stila shadows, and the shadow stick means they're so easy to just scribble on the lid. Molten Bronze is golden perfection and Rose Quartz is a really wearable soft pink hue. They're both really flattering and easy to wear; a must-have makeup bag addition for the warmer weather. I might need to buy them all...
This was a birthday present from my mum (thanks, ma!), and the shade Golden Light might be one of the best I've come across for adding warmth and glow to paler complexions. It's not too orange and the powder itself, whilst pigmented, is easy to blend into something diffused.
Given my recent face tanning disaster (tanning drops are not the one), I am sticking firmly with powder bronzer. One that can be washed off. This is going to be my bronzer of the summer! All I need is a bright lipstick and lots of sunshine.
