Whilst I’m all about the big edits with lots of styled photos, I am also a voracious product user, so quick little reviews of products I’m loving seem like a good fit to me. Little Laurzrah Loves edits of the latest and greatest products to have found their way into my beauty routine. First up has to be the dreamy Sister & Co Skin Food Body Melt…
Who are Sister & Co?
Sister & Co Skin Food are a London-based brand who specialise in making natural body and skin care. Their USP is the use of food-grade naturally active ingredients to make products free from preservatives, fillers or synthetic fragrances. The majority of the products are raw/cold-pressed, and a lot of the range is vegan, too.
What is the Sister & Co Skin Food Body Melt?
It is a ‘super-hydrating all-over body balm’ made primarily from cold-pressed apricot oil and almond oil. It’s also rich in texture thanks to the shea butter and it has vitamins A, B and E to nourish the skin. Essentially, it’s a really luxe body balm that can be used all over to soothe skin and quickly get rid of any dryness. It’s 100% natural, vegetarian-friendly, dairy-free and certified organic. It smells beyond amazing and just like summer, thanks to the Sicilian lemon and vanilla extract. It makes your mouth water! The scent lingers on the skin nicely throughout the day, too.
A little bit of the balm definitely goes a long way, so the little jar is pretty deceptive. It looks pretty small for your traditional body moisturiser/balm but it would last a decent amount of time as it’s so rich. It only needs the teeniest tiniest amount of product to be warmed up on the skin, and then massaged in. I’m saving this to be used on any areas I want to look subtlety illuminated – the formula means skin has a sheen to it wherever it’s used… I’m saving it for arms & décolletage post-sun – it’s coming straight on holiday with me next week.
