Sometimes skincare is good, and sometimes it looks good. Sometimes, just sometimes, skincare looks beyond dreamy and performs beautifully. One brand that nailed both the aesthetic and the all-important product is Fresh. I’ve tried a range of products from the brand, from the ever-popular soy cleanser to their beautiful lip tints. I’ve definitely got some Favourites From Fresh…
Fresh Rose Deep Hydration
OK, so this is my favourite range of products from the line! Everything is perfect. My skin errs on the side of dry all the time, and this range of products makes a noticeable difference. Love love love. There’s the deep hydration facial toner, which has lots of petals floating dreamily in the bottle. It’s super photogenic. It manages to soften the skin post-cleanse; the formula helps to refresh and prep the skin for any subsequent skincare. I like to use it in the evening as it feels wonderfully soothing. Toners are an extra step, but worth it for adding an extra layer of hydration, imho.
In the morning, I’m currently working my way through the combination of the deep hydration face serum & the deep hydration face cream. Both are fabulously rich and nourishing on the skin. If you have dry skin, then you’ll know the struggle of wanting a day cream to really hydrate but not to be too heavy underneath makeup. Well… this is the one. It almost leaves a velvet finish on the skin but it’s definitely too heavy for oilier skin types. The serum is light enough to work well on everyone – it’s super light but manages to leave skin feeling bouncier and smoother.
Lastly, the rose face mask is a gorgeous weekly addition. I’ve recently revamped my whole skincare storage in my bathroom, and I have a whole big, beautiful section for face masks. This one is what I use in the last stage of a three-step facial (exfoliant, clarify and then hydrate fyi) and then leave on overnight.
Favourites From Fresh – Lip Tints
The lip treatments are definitely the best entry product for Fresh; they’re beautifully packaged and magically addictive. I’ve always got one in my bag because they’re just so darn easy to slick on without a mirror. The tinted balms (I love Tulip & Punch) are my go-to when I want a really low-key lip for the day time because they’re maybe the ultimate low maintenance lip. The tint is smooth and has decent colour pay-off without feeling heavy in the slightest. They taste really fresh and a bit lemony, and they hydrate the lips for a good few hours.
