Fridays are made for dreaming of the weekend, right? My current plans for the weekend involve some shopping, so I’m rounding up some of the Latest Beauty Launches to have caught my eye.
New blushes from Laura Mercier
Launching 1st August
10 new shades of blusher launching! The old Laura Mercier blushes were my favourite so when they were permanently out of stock I got worried. Nope, they’ve been redone and I can’t wait! They’re described as having a weightless and silky texture, in a buildable and blendable sheer coverage. There’s a shade for every skin tone, definitely. They’re coming in two formulas, matte (shades are Rose, Chai, Ginger, Strawberry and Kir Royale) and Sheen (shades are Fresco, Pomegranate, Peach, Grapefruit, Sangria). They’re going to be £24 each.
New… everything from Charlotte Tilbury
Launching from August
Yup, the Queen is launching a whole load of new products! There’s a new 12 pan eyeshadow palette in tones of rose gold that is almost too dreamy for words. Also… new quads, new formulas of sheeny lipsticks, new powder and a new concealer. Phew. I was lucky enough to see it a Christmas in July event this week, and I can’t even. Everything she launches is always beautifully thought out, and we all know I’m a fan of the brand by now.
Three new launches from Huda
Some out now, some coming soon
Huda’s launched three whole new products. A new primer for mattifying skin, which sounds like it’s going to go really well with the Huda foundation (reviewed here). There’s also the new baking powder, which is super super silky and soft, and perfect for setting makeup under the eyes without caking. Then there’s the new soft cream liquid lips which also look great! All of the products are launching on a mix of Selfridges and Cult Beauty.
New lip blushes from Makeup Forever
Out now via Escentual
Blush, for lips. I am so into this idea, with it being a gentle wash of colour on the lips. Loads and loads of shades have launched. They’re ‘inspired by the way that blusher brightens the face and adds warmth to every look, Lip Blush captures the delicacy of powder and transforms it into a beautiful matte lip colour that feels comfortable and cushiony to wear.’ These look like a modern lip crayon, with a soft matte finish.
New Origins Clear Improvement mask
Out now via Origins
Remember the blogging OG mask? It’s been reformulated and looks even more exciting than before. I swear everyone used to use this mask, and it was one of the first blogger-inspired purchases I made. The new formula promises to be just as effective at detoxify but it also now has honey in it to nourish. Sounds interesting, and more 2018-relevant. It looks like Origins is trying to go a little more ‘clean’ in their ingredients and their marketing.
