I definitely think that my perfume tastes have changed over the years but one of the scents that I still love is Marc Jacobs Daisy. I’m loyal to a few & this has stood the test of time. It’s classic and it just smells pretty. I can’t imagine anyone not loving it! The newest version, Marc Jacobs Daisy Love (here), is a tribute to the original with an updated twist.

What Does It Smell Like?
It’s a fresh sweet-floral that smells a little bit sparkling, with a woody and slightly musky base. It’s oh so sweet and pretty; the name Daisy is just perfect here. Non-offensive and particularly lovely as a daytime scent. It’s been marketed as a millenial perfume, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing! The big daisy bottle definitely appeals to my inner child, but Marc Jacobs Daisy Love is a sweet little gourmand that errs on the side of creamy.
What’s It Similar To?
Well, if you’re a fan of the original Marc Jacobs scents then falling in love with this is a pretty safe bet. It was developed by the same perfumer, Alberto Morillas, who made the original Daisy scent so there’s obviously going to be some similarities. I’d say that the dry down is a little more sophisticated than the original Daisy, as the woodiness in it adds an edge. Not that it’s a woody scent by any means! It’s beautifully wearable. If you like sweet scents, then this would be good. Liking anything like JPG scandal, Paco Rabanne Olympea and Jimmy Choo’s original make Marc Jacobs Daisy Love one you’ll love.
