There’s nothing groundbreaking about wearing berry lipsticks in autumn and winter, but it just feels so right. Like drinking hot chocolate and wearing tights, y’know? A rich berry tone adds the right finish to your winter wardrobe, and instantly updates your face. Wearing berry can perhaps be a little intimidating sometimes, so I’ve edited together Three Easy Berry Lipsticks, all with fantastic formulas and natural ingredients.

Something really rare in my lipstick collection – a lip gloss! Something about the idea of glossy berry lips really spoke to me, and the recently launched glosses from Ere Perez have a whole host of ingredients that appealed to me. Wild mango and jojoba seed oil both hydrate without being too heavy or sticky on the lips – the perfect balance. My lips are particularly dry at the moment, so the comfort of a gloss is a welcome addition. Crush is definitely a deep berry toned shade, but the glossiness makes it incredibly easy to wear. I’m wearing this with clean, glossy skin (always) and no eye makeup for an easy, wearable look.
Green People Berry Nude – link
I know, a berry nude seems a little contradictory, but Green People are really onto something here – this is such a wearable berry that it would look amazing on absolutely anyone. With a creamy matte texture, this is a sort of grown-up nude lipstick for everyday wear. The ingredients that Green People don’t include is extensive – if you want a lipstick you truly would feel comfortable eating (which you do anyway!), then this is a brand worth investigating.

Insert a heavenly chorus here, because this is one of my favourite lipsticks of all time. It’s one of their bestselling shades (and it started off their whole tinted lip shade range), and for very good reason because it’s gorgeous. Although sheer, it’s got plenty of pigment so that you can either wipe it over lips and be done, or build it up for a deeper flush of colour. So ranging from a sheer berry pink to something far more jammy and luscious. I’m wearing it in this instagram post, for reference. Ingredient wise, it’s packed with nourishment so it doesn’t dry out lips – sunflower seed oil, cocoa seed butter and orange peel wax to name a few.
