It’s Christmasssssssssss! Surely the best time of year to indulge in a little beauty indulgence. Or a lot. Depends entirely on how much you need to treat yourself – I am feeling that yes, I need to treat myself lots this year. 2019 has been all about the natural skincare and beauty, as well as me trying to be more low-waste. I turn down the majority of PR and try hard to use what I have as well as making conscious purchases. So, here is my Natural & Cruelty-Free Christmas Gift Guide.
TRUE is one of my favourite brands, and finds, of the whole of 2019. I do work with them as a client, and stock them in my store, so I really do love them! Truly. Their skincare sets for Christmas are beyond beautiful, and surprisingly affordable for organic skincare. Their Harmony collection has three miniatures of their facial oils for only £10… Need to order for my sister, too.
Floral Street Perfumes
A lovely little London perfume brand, who make vegan-friendly and sustainable perfumes in a whole host of floral scents. I particularly like Neon Rose, which is a zesty, souped-up rose scent. It comes in a handy little 10ml and makes the ideal stocking stuffer. They also come wrapped in baubles to hang on the tree!
REN Beauty Sleep Booster Nightcare Set
I would happily call myself a REN fangirl, having used and loved their skincare for almost ten years now… Eek! Every year their sets have beautiful packaging but this one (via LoveLula) might be my favourite ever. Whales! Dolphins! I loovvvve, and will not be throwing this box away. Inside is their dreamy pillow spray (this will be my third bottle) and two miniatures of their overnight products for some beauty sleep. There’s something so lovely about a pillow spray – it’s not by any means a necessity, but a lovely luxurious addition to your bedtime routine.
Eco Panda reusable cotton rounds
For the eco-conscious amongst us, reusable cotton rounds seem like a must! Low waste when you use one or two a day, and much nicer for the environment and skin. This set from Eco Panda is especially gift-worthy, coming in a bamboo storage jar and a bag to wash them with. Clever and cute.
Green People Everyday Organics Purify & Protect Collection
Beautifully packaged, this miniature set of Green People skincare is an excellent introduction to the brand, and wonderfully sized to be both affordable and a stocking stuffer. This is a lovely organic brand, filled with skincare gems, and one well worth investigating if you’re looking to question the ingredients in your skincare.
Three Affordable Treats
Disclaimer – two of these items are from my own shop! What can I say, I have good taste. The Balmkind Christmas Tree is the cutest little stocking stuffer (or to be hung on the tree), containing one of my favourite lip balms of all time. The UpCircle Cinnamon & Ginger soap smells like Christmas, is a great low-waste option and is made from repurposed ingredients. All round winner. Lastly, the Pai cleansing oil bauble is a lovely introduction to the brand – Pai’s cream cleanser is one of my favourites of all time, it’s a lovely brand.
Jane Iredale – Eye Edit
A lovely, high-performing natural beauty brand, Jane Iredale makes lovely products and are a little infamous for their eye products – mascaras and liners especially. This Eye Edit is sure to make anyone green with envy… heh. Pleasingly packaged and packed full of makeup treats.
If I found a little red box of Kjaer Weis under the tree, I would be very happy. It’s an incredibly luxurious, refillable & eco-friendly brand and the distinctive red packaging is oh-so gift-worthy. I love their lipsticks, balms, shadows, foundation… Pretty much everything. Equally beautiful are products from Lola’s Apothecary, a beautiful and natural British brand.
Contains a mix of PR gifted items & things I bought with my own money!
